Colette Urbajtel is a French-Mexican photographer, whose work, mostly of everyday life, was in black-and-white until 1990. She was married to Mexican photographer Manuel Álvarez Bravo, who taught her until she became a photographer in her own right. Her work has been exhibited extensively both in Mexico and abroad. It has been recognized with membership in the Salón de la Plástica Mexicana, two retrospectives and has been featured in two books. She has also published photos in several books and has published two on her husband's life and work.

Victoria Klotz développe depuis la fin des années 1990 une création singulière, plutôt marginale dans le champ de l'art contemporain : esthétiser notre rapport à l'animal et à la nature.
Pas ici de culte du médium : les options plastiques sont diverses, entre sculpture et installation, photographie et intervention. Importe avant tout, pour cette amoureuse du milieu naturel, la mise en oeuvre, par des voies plasticiennes diverses, d'une divergence de vue par rapport à la manière dont le sens commun perçoit la « nature ». L'artiste, volontiers, se présente comme « la fille du chasseur », comme quelqu'un qui appartient à un temps et un espace où la peur de la nature n'avait pas fait son chemin.
Pour son installation créée au sein du parc de l'Abbaye de Daoulas, Victoria Klotz s'est inspirée du bestiaire présent dans l'iconographie de Daoulas : le cerf de saint Thélo, l'âne et le loup de saint Hervé. L'intervention de l'artiste prend place en contrebas du parc, dans le périmètre d'une parcelle close par une palissade en bois. L'oeuvre fait référence au jardin d'Éden, à la fois lieu de désobéissance, mais aussi milieu fermé et protégé, telle une réserve naturelle où l'homme irresponsable agit comme un enfant. Le visiteur est invité à venir observer ce huis-clos de différents points de vue au travers d'oeilletons percés dans la palissade.
Le projet qu'Érik Samakh a créé au Domaine de Trévarez part de ce constat : le château est aujourd'hui devenu malgré lui une maison à chauve-souris, une batbox. Une première installation au rez-de-chaussée des écuries joue avec notre perception : une obscurité, une odeur de sous-bois, un son spatialisé diffusant les cris des chauves-souris, ainsi que leurs battements d'ailes donnent la sensation que les animaux volent au-dessus des têtes.
Le leurre, présent dans le travail d'Érik Samakh, renvoie à l'image de l'artiste, chasseur-cueilleur. Alliant l'archaïque et une haute technicité, le travail de Samakh s'intéresse davantage aux relations entre les choses qu'aux choses elles-mêmes. Ici il s'agit bien de mettre en évidence un certain renversement de l'ordre « naturel », où l'animal a profité d'une vacance et d'une mesure de protection.
