Roddy Doyle

Né à Dublin en 1958, Roddy Doyle est l'un des écrivains majeurs de la littérature irlandaise contemporaine. Il est l'auteur de la célèbre trilogie de Barrytown - The Commitments, The Snapper, The Van - (collection « Pavillons », 1996, « Pavillons poche », 2009), portée à l'écran par Alan Parker (1991) et Stephen Frears (1993), ainsi que de Paddy Clarke Ha ! Ha ! Ha ! (1993, lauréat du Booker Prize).
